Although your child may has been driving with you for weeks, months or even years, this does not mean he knows exactly what to do, how to do it, when to do it and why is it being done.  In the vehicle, actions have immediate consequences!  Simply being “okay” or “good” at driving isn’t enough.  The highest standard must be in demand.  He must work toward being the greatest driver! His life and others’ depend on it!  The world is in his hands!

If your teens or any adult driver cannot answer the simple questions below, then they are certainly not trained drivers but simply individuals who drive from point A to point B.

When turning a right corner, do you know when to steer?  When to brake? When to gas?  Which comes first: steering the wheel or pressing the gas?  Do you know what a good turn versus a bad turn is?  What is a smooth turn versus a rough turn?  Do you know which is the best method of steering?  Where should your hands be on the steering wheel before the turn, during the turn and after the turn?

A trained driver knows the answers to the above questions—as opposed to a person who drives for many years without any self-awareness or technical knowledge.  Not only it is important to know what to do, but the reasons as well; therefore, this will motivate you to continue doing the right things. 

The list of questions above is only asking about a simple right turn.  Now imagine an assault of questions regarding left turns, u-turns, parking, reversing, freeway, 3-point turns, lane changing, evasive maneuvers, accident preventions, risk managements, and many others.  Can you (as a parent and an experienced driver) answer every question your teen asks?  If an individual doesn’t know better, he will not do better.  Only perfect practice makes perfect.  Therefore, demand perfection; or in this case—SUPERIOR training from the Absolute Best Driving School.
